The reason this logo looks very much like that one is because the Japanese visual novel we'll be exploring in this new run, Umineko no Naku Koro ni (also known as Umineko: When They Cry or When the Seagulls Cry), is the next installment in the When They Cry series developed by the doujin circle 07th Expansion, which started with Higurashi.
